Job Description:
The main function of the Power Verification Engineer is to work with a group of researchers and engineers to perform power verification tests on Meta's products. Working closely with researchers, architects, and designers to measure power consumption on the product on different use cases such as gaming, audio, talk time, and video. Using verification skills to define verification requirements, create test cases, design and implement the testing infrastructure, execute the testing, and report the results for the new product designs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define power validation methodologies for each of the different systems by working with test team
- Perform power validation use case scenarios in a virtual reality environment for extended periods of time
- Support system bring up and debug activities
- Clearly communicate test plans and results
Skills:
- Ability to be testing virtual reality environment for extended periods of time
- 2-4 years experience in QA or electronics testing
- Strong understanding of automation scripts (Python or C++ or JavaScript, etc.)
Skill:
- Automation experience
- NI instrument experience
- Experience measuring power consumption w/ data acquisition systems and oscilloscopes
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
This is the pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position $63.14/hour - $71.42/hour
