Summary:
The GENAI LLM Safety team is seeking a technical writer. This technical writer will play a key role in the logistical operations and execution of a cross-functional multi-stakeholder program assessing the safety of Meta’s products.
Important Note: This technical writer must have comfortability with writing reports that review findings (text and media) on sensitive topics including Violent Crimes and Child Sexual Exploitation or writing prompts on those topics.
Job Responsibilities:
Pull and assess red teaming data
Provide feedback on red teaming data quality
Review initial reports written by colleagues
Write a 90% finalized report on all red teaming exercises conducted by the team
Illustrative tasks will include: (1) Reviewing prompts of fellow annotators (2) Pulling red teaming data (3) Summarizing common findings in red teaming exercises
Collaborate with engineers, other technical writers, program coordinators, and program manager to ensure progress towards the team’s goals
Occasionally creating text, media, and agentic violating prompts on sensitive topics such as Violent Crimes and Child Sexual Exploitation
Required Skills:
Strong technical skills with pulling data and assessing data
Strong background with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
Stellar verbal and written skills
Problem solving, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Able and willing to work independently and manage one’s time.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with annotating/red teaming
Data science experience
Report writing; communications experience
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree
3-5 years professional experience
