Technical Program Manager – Data Science Portfolio

Overview
Seeking a Technical Program Manager with 7–10 years of experience working with technical teams. The candidate will manage, prioritize, and drive impact across a portfolio of data science projects and initiatives. This role blends advanced analytics, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to enable data-driven decision-making and maximize business value.

Qualifications
Experience in data science, analytics, project/program/portfolio management
Strong strategic thinking and ability to drive organizational priorities
Advanced proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and visualization
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate in high-growth, fast-paced environments and manage multiple concurrent projects
Experience with cross-functional collaboration and influencing executive decisions

Core Responsibilities
Portfolio Oversight & Strategic Alignment
Drive visibility and execution of key operational and transformative data science initiatives
Partner with leadership to identify long-term plans, priorities, and critical focus areas
Align technical roadmaps with organizational OKRs and business objectives
Prepare and present summary reports on milestones, status, and success metrics for the portfolio

Project Intake & Resource Management
Develop and streamline processes for project intake and resource balancing
Ensure efficient allocation of resources across multiple projects and teams
Monitor and improve adherence to deadlines, reduce delays, and increase project throughput

Analytical Leadership
Leverage advanced analytical techniques to draw insights from structured and unstructured data
Guide teams in analytical design, modeling, and data visualization to support decision-making
Apply emerging quantitative tools and techniques to enhance research conclusions

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, IDC Pillars)
Facilitate strategic discussions and planning sessions to define key focus areas
Ensure consistent messaging and communication across the organization

Operational Excellence
Track progress to key results and ensure delivery on commitments
Provide ongoing support for production incidents and requests
Drive improvements in systems, processes, and tools to enhance portfolio performance
