Job Description:
Serve as a key consultant, bridging the gap between engineering and content creation.
Architect and develop advanced C++ engine solutions and TypeScript-based systems within the Meta Horizon ecosystem.
Act as a technical partner for engineering teams, translating creator needs into actionable engine-level features.
Develop proof-of-concept prototypes for new engine features and cutting-edge interactive experiences, leveraging AI for efficiency
Establish and document best practices for asset pipeline architecture, editor extensions, and cross-platform systems integration for VR/mobile deployment.
Must have:
4+ years of experience in technical art with a deep focus on game engine architecture, and ECS systems. -
Experience with C++ for engine-level development
Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript Deep understanding of modern real-time engine architecture and experience with Unity or Unreal
Experience acting as a liaison between art and engineering departments in cross-functional collaboration environments.
Experience with low-level Open USD.
Good to have:
Experience developing for proprietary game engines with ECS-based architectures.
Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles for developer and creator-facing tools. Background in systems design for networked, multiplayer experiences.
Background in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline development.
