Job Responsibilities
As a Sound Designer at OURO Interactive, you will:
Lead the development of top-tier audio assets and templates for AI-driven games, ensuring that sound design is central to interactive experiences and gameplay.
Collaborate with producers, engineers, designers, and other team members to co-create compelling, innovative sound elements tailored for AI-powered projects.
Design and deliver dynamic, interactive sound assets that maximize flexibility, quality, and collaborative potential.
Develop and implement novel workflows and techniques for integrating sound design into AI game skills, pushing the boundaries of interactive audio.
Maintain and organize optimized sound libraries, ensuring efficient reusability and rapid iteration within multidisciplinary environments.
Rigorously test, review, and refine audio content, keeping excellence, innovation, and performance at the forefront.
Actively contribute to shaping OURO’s collaborative audio team culture and influence AI audio development directions.
Balance creative vision with project needs, technical constraints, and evolving requirements, all while thriving in remote and distributed settings.
Skills
The ideal candidate will bring:
Strong research, creative pitching, and communication skills with senior colleagues and collaborators.
Understanding of how sound interacts with environments—sets, lighting, visuals, and interactive scenarios.
Expert mixing in formats such as Stereo, Dolby Atmos, and spatial audio.
Mastery in post-production editing and mastering.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills for on-time delivery and meeting collaborative deadlines.
Experience with game audio software (Wwise, FMOD), spatial/immersive audio, and audio engineering or music composition is advantageous.
Familiarity with workflows and tools for integrating audio into AI-enabled projects is a strong asset.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, or a closely related field required OR 5-10 years’ experience in game audio, interactive media, or related sound design field expected
