Job Title: International Pensions Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Audit Support

10-hours per week

Scope:

We're seeking an experienced International Pensions SME to support our internal audit team in reviewing and assessing our company's compliance with local regulations regarding pension management and distribution in specific European countries (UK, Ireland, and other complex jurisdictions).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on pension regulations, laws, and best practices in UK, Ireland, and other specified European countries
  • Review and assess our company's existing operational processes for pension management and distribution, including pension provider engagement, management, and monitoring
  • Identify potential compliance gaps and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement corrective actions

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience working with large multinational companies on pension-related matters, specifically in UK, Ireland, and other complex European jurisdictions
  • Proven track record of providing guidance on pension regulations, laws, and best practices
  • Experience in developing and implementing operational processes for pension management and distribution
  • Strong knowledge of local regulations and laws governing pensions in specified European countries
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Experience working with global pension providers or administrators
  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP)
