Join Meta's cutting-edge GenAI team and help build foundational AI models from the ground up. We are looking for talented Medical subject matter experts (SMEs) to bring deep domain expertise and elevate the quality of our AI training data. This is a remote, flexible opportunity to collaborate directly with Meta's AI research teams.
What You'll Do:
Domain Expertise Advisory: Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance, focused on your specialty field; collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data
Quality Assurance: Evaluate and grade the quality of annotations produced by vendors for SFT (Supervised Fine Tuning) and RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback) annotations. Identify areas of improvement and provide feedback to optimize the quality of annotations.
Data Annotation: Directly annotate data for key tasks when necessary, including writing SFT responses and judging output quality for RLHF.
What Would Make You A Great Fit:
Education: MD or DO
Experience: A minimum of 5 years professional experience in Medicine. Experience teaching advanced concepts, demonstrating ability to distill and relay complex problems in logical, step-by-step thinking preferred.
Deep Knowledge: Demonstrated deep understanding and expertise in the Medical Field
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and guidance to internal teams and external vendors.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities to identify trends, evaluate annotation quality, and provide actionable feedback.
Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve shared goals.
Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes in a rapidly evolving environment.
