Technical Project Lead for Quality Assurance Testing & Evaluation
Overview
The Technical Project Lead (Contractor) for Quality Assurance (QA) Testing and Evaluation is responsible for driving the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of QA processes for products and features. This role is project-based and requires strong technical expertise,
leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic QA Planning
● Define and implement QA strategies for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
● Set clear milestones, and key metrics for QA deliverables.
● Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
Test Design & Execution
● Develop comprehensive test plans, including manual and automated test cases.
● Oversee the execution of testing activities, ensuring thorough coverage and timely delivery.
● Review and validate project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
● Track and report key quality metrics, using data to inform decisions.
● Provide actionable feedback and request revisions as needed.
Project Coordination
● Facilitate communication between QA, engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams.
● Coordinate with stakeholders to address changes in project scope or requirements.
Documentation & Handover
● Ensure all QA documentation is complete, accurate, and ready for handover.
● Support knowledge transfer and training for ongoing QA support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
● Proven experience in QA methodologies, automation, and evaluation techniques.
● Strong technical background in building technologies, physical security systems, network security. CCure, Genetec, and Sureview certifications or equivalent.
● Experience leading QA projects and teams, preferably in a contractor or consulting capacity.
● Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
● Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
