We're seeking a senior Project Coordinator to lead data annotation and labeling programs supporting Meta's Content Understanding and GenAI initiatives. This role operates with Project Manager-level independence, driving end-to-end program execution for high-quality AI training datasets including RLHF and LLM fine-tuning programs.
You'll coordinate cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Linguistics) and vendor partners to deliver data at scale for flagship AI efforts
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end execution of data labeling/annotation programs with minimal oversight
Own project plans, timelines, dashboards, and quality metrics
Drive workflow design, guideline creation, and vendor training (T3)
Serve as primary liaison between internal XFN teams and external vendor partners
Run calibration sessions, dogfooding activities, and quality improvement initiatives
Deputize for Project Manager when required; mentor junior team members
Identify operational improvements and drive process standardization
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years operations/project coordination experience
Proven experience managing data labeling or annotation programs at scale
Strong Excel/Sheets and data analysis skills
Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
Ability to work independently in fast-paced, technical AI/ML environments
Track record of leading vendor relationships and quality management
Preferred Qualifications
Linguistics background (degree or professional experience in Translation, Language Sciences, NLP)
Multilingual proficiency – fluency in languages beyond English highly valued
People management or team lead experience
Experience with GenAI, RLHF workflows, or LLM training data
Familiarity with Content Understanding, NLU, or ASR domains
Technical aptitude (SQL, Python familiarity a plus)
Experience with AI annotation platforms (e.g., ULP)
