Summary:
Meta is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager with proven Data Center Network Deployment experience for a temporary assignment. In this role, you will support critical projects and initiatives within our infrastructure organization. This is a contingent worker position, not a full-time employment opportunity with Meta. The assignment is remote and can be performed from anywhere in California, unless otherwise specified.
Responsibilities:
-Lead and coordinate cross-functional Network Deployment projects related to data center operations and infrastructure.
-Develop project plans, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
-Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive project success.
-Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with Meta’s standards and best practices.
-Communicate project status, issues, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
Minimum Requirements:
-Experience in network engineering with a focus on deployment & support of Peering, Edge, CDN & ISP networks
-Knowledge of networking routing and switching protocols (BGP, MPLS, RSVP-TE, IS-IS)
-Working knowledge of network protocols (TCP/UDP, DNS) and experience with IPv4/IPv6 environments
-Working knowledge of POP/Colo physical infrastructure concepts and optic types used in 10G/100G/400G networks
-Ability to forecast and plan in a fast paced environment and translate the forecast into actionable deliverables with specific timelines
-Being able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver against project deadlines
-Demonstrated experience managing programs or projects in data center environments.
-Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
-Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
-Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
