We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Facial Motion Expert to join our team. As a Facial Motion Expert, you will be responsible for evaluating the quality of machine learning models tailored for face tracking, animation and speech across 2D and 3D avatar representations. You will work closely with our research and product teams to provide insights about quality issues and driving roadmaps for future development.


Responsibilities

• Evaluate quality of machine learning models related to face animation, tracking and speech quality.

• Collaborate with research and product teams to share insights and prioritize future development.

• Take ownership of detailed analysis and readouts to inform product development and understand the tradeoffs between technology feasibility and user experience.

• Stay up-to-date and understand the latest developments in the industry.

• Design and develop thorough quality evaluation protocols and help engineers design user studies.

• Collaborate with tech artists on retargeting quality.


Requirements

• Bachelor, Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field

• 5+ years of industry experience in facial animation, tracking and AI speech quality

• Knowledge in facial anatomy, facial expressions and FACS

• Experience in designing user research

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment


Nice to Have

• Experience in the film, game or animation industry

• Understanding of avatar design, rigging, retargeting and their challenges

• Understanding of ML and Computer Vision
