Summary:
The main function of an Academic Collaborator is to advise on research surrounding the advnacement of new technologies and products. This includes implementation of new methodologies, creating new tools and advancing cutting-edge projects. The typical Academic Collaborator has professorial experience within a social science or research based field.
Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with our Research team as part of ongoing product research
• Work closely with product teams to identify research topics
• Conduct research to understand user behavior and attitudes
• Partner with engineers, analysts, and other technical roles to create and share research.

• Strong statistical and data analysis skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and project tracking
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and to interpret and communicate research findings and insights
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor degree or significant experience in data science, computer science, economics, statistics, or other functional required.
• PHD in a social science related field (social psychology, sociology, etc.)
